Jeremy joined the Department of Political Science and Public Administration in fall 2016. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame in August 2015 and taught there as a Postdoctoral Fellow from 2015-2016.  Jeremy will teach Intro to American Government & Politics, Political Behavior, Intro to Empirical Methods of Political Research, and a variety of other courses at CMU. 


His current research project examines public opinion among young evangelicals. He has also studied public opinion on church and state, including recent work published in the Journal for the Scientific Study of Religion and Politics and Religion.  In addition, his research on whether or not popular movies might impact public opinion was published in Social Science Quarterly and was featured on NPR's "On the Media."
