Trained in eye tracking methods used to assess cognition while reading; currently examining the effects of aptness in adult metaphor comprehension. Also currently engaged in collaborative efforts with Dr. Kyle Scherr to examine Miranda rights comprehension in adult and adolescent populations. He is currently Graduate Advocate for the CMU Association for Psychological Science Student Caucus.
Breanna Knudsen, is currently enrolled in the M.S. program, Experimental Psychology
Thesis topic: studying the possible interactions of personality traits and linguistic manipulations on how consumers view advertisements. Her future plans: enroll in a PhD program in Experimental Psychology, Neuroscience, or Biopsychology.
Other activities: active member in several RSOs; Vice President of North American Indigenous Student Organization (NAISO) CMU Chapter; student representative of CMU's Multicultural and Diversity Education Council.
