Students seeking majors, minors and certificates in the programs offered through the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences will learn to think critically, communicate clearly, and solve complex problems, skills that will prepare you for careers, leadership and engaged citizenship.
We offer internships, creative endeavors, applied research opportunities, and international and multicultural activities to enhance classroom experiences. Our students perfect their writing and speaking skills and gain advanced understanding of people and social structures. Our graduates are effective, informed and compassionate professionals who can engage with people and communities at the regional, national and international levels.
CLASS is home to more than 50 academic undergraduate and graduate degree and certificate programs housed in the departments of English Language and Literature; History; Philosophy and Religion; Political Science and Public Administration; Psychology; Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work; and World Languages and Cultures.
