In September of 2010, Thomas K. Rohrer was named director of the Great Lakes Institute for Sustainable Systems at Central Michigan University.   Mr. Rohrer previously served as the Director of the Environmental Studies program at CMU (2002-2010) and worked for twenty-five years for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and Environment.   Administrative professional support is provided by the Office of the Dean in the College of Humanities and Social and Behavioral Sciences with additional support from the College of Education and Human Services and the College of Business Administration.
