Gateway Community Economic Development Project

Since 2002 the Gateway Communities Economic Development project has been providing research and policy support to local governments.  Participation has included more than 56 Gateway Communities across 18 states.  Dedicated to sustaining the vibrancy of Gateway Communities the project focuses upon five themes; 1. Economic Development and Diversification, 2. Citizen Quality of Life Enhancement, 3. Building Effective Government to Government Partnerships, 4. Developing Robust Public-Private Partnerships, and 5. Protection of the Natural Environment.
