Opening Reception: Kozmic Clash: Peace, Love and Outer Space
Monday, April 22
The Museum of Cultural and Natural History will open their new exhibit "Kozmic Clash: Peace, Love and Outer Space" and their new hands-on gallery "Feel the Music." This CMU Museum exhibit emphasizes the dynamic expression of freedom through creativity, innovation, exploration, and group participation in music, the arts, and technological advance. The Woodstock Festival (officially "An Aquarian Exposition: Three Days of Peace and Music") and the first man on the moon (the Apollo 11 mission) will be used to illustrate the key achievements that occurred on both the "hippie" and the conservative home fronts in 1969.
