Welcome to the Museum of Cultural and Natural History at Central Michigan University! The museum supports research and teaching in cultural and natural history and serves as a laboratory for students enrolled in the museum studies program at CMU.

Our exhibits are open to the public, and we offer tours and classroom activities for teachers and students.

Museum Hours:

Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday - 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday - Closed
University closure and national holidays - Closed

Special one-day behind-the-scenes program open to students entering 4th or 5th grade in Fall 2019. In addition to the online application, applicants must email a signed waiver and a one-page essay to cmuseum@cmich.edu.
