Students interested in studying abroad will find many opportunities to study philosophy at universities around the world.  One example is Lingnan University in Hong Kong, where faculty in our department have been visiting scholars and students in our program have spent a semester abroad.  The Office of Study Abroad can help you find a range of exciting options to take advantage of your time at CMU to travel and learn internationally.  The philosophy program offers an intensive, faculty-led study abroad course over the summer with Prof. Hope May in The Hague, The Netherlands, where students can learn about peace history, human rights, and international law.
