Annual Nonprofit and Government Internship Fair

Every year, the Nonprofit Leadership Student Alliance hosts state and local nonprofit and public organizations to engage and recruit CMU students for internship and career opportunities. These organizations are eager to network with students who wish to intern at an organization that is mission-centric, critical to the community, and has been designed to challenge and teach them new skills.

Find Your Why

Find Your Why is an annual mini-conference event where attendees have the opportunity to connect to cause-based RSOs from multiple domains including health care, environmental, social justice, mental health, and more! This event is not only a wonderful opportunity to get involved on campus, but to network with campus organizations to create partnerships and professional development opportunities.

Service Projects

Nonprofit Leadership Student Alliance service projects are designed to simultaneously benefit our community and our members. Through crucial partnerships with local organizations, NLSA members connect their academic experiences to the real world, develop knowledge among varying nonprofit domains, and are challenged to take action to assist these organizations.

Giving Tuesday

NLSA members gain firsthand experience implementing the skills necessary to plan and execute a successful Giving Tuesday campaign for the Nonprofit Leadership Student Alliance. Giving Tuesday marks an important day of giving within the nonprofit sector, it is dedicated to charitable giving and donations which typically occur after Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
