Dr. Tuttle received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Coastal Carolina University, a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Michigan University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in School Psychology from Central Michigan University. She completed her pre-doctoral clinical internship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center's Munroe-Meyer Institute where she gained valuable experience in the assessment and treatment of severe problem behavior, early intervention based on the principles of applied behavior analysis, and autism diagnostic evaluation. Currently, Dr. Tuttle conducts comprehensive autism evaluations to determine whether children and adolescents meet criteria for a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder. She joined Central Michigan University as the Director of Autism Assessment in 2016 and became the Director of the Psychological Training and Consultation Center (PTCC) in January 2019.
Dr. Tuttle has participated on research teams examining maternal and child outcomes in at-risk families, academic interventions for math achievement and anxiety, and treatment efficacy for individuals with severe behavior disorders. Her current research interests include evidence-based assessment and intervention for individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
