NOTE: Any WGS designated or cross-listed course may be used as an elective as long as it isn't already used to fulfill a requirement in the core or required course categories. This will likely require the student to contact the director for a substitution, but this is an easy process. For example, you may have taken WGS/FMD 280 to fulfill your LGBTQ studies required (Required Course I). If you are interested in WGS/SOC or WGS/ENG 204, you can use this as an elective. Recently, we have also added a new dialogue course on gender WGS245. You may also take this as an elective by contacting the director and requesting a substitution.
