F&SA’s goal is to provide professional and personal development and support for all those working for the College of Medicine. In collaboration with Central Michigan University’s Office of Human Resources and Faculty Personnel Services, the College of Medicine’s F&SA team provides a range of services to help our faculty and staff succeed. Faculty & Staff Affairs team members works with the Discipline Chairs and the Faculty Advancement Appointment and Promotion committee (FAAC) to manage the appointment, reappointment, promotion and tenure process. Other areas include oversight of faculty development programs, the faculty annual performance and academic review process, and faculty recruitment. The office supports staff through training and development programs, recruitment, and all other aspects of the employment lifecycle.
