Lourdes Morales-Dopico, M.D.

Assistant Director

Lourdes Morales-Dopico, M.D.Dr. Lourdes Morales-Dopico is an Assistant Director of the Pediatrics Department and an adjunct faculty physician. She joined the CMU Health team in November 2011.  She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.  Dr. Morales-Dopico started her medical studies at the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Havana, Cuba, and graduated from Central America Health Sciences University.   She completed her residency in pediatrics at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.  After her residency she was appointed to the position of chief resident in pediatrics for one more year. She is fluent in English and Spanish.

Mary Moore, M.D.

Assistant Director

Dr. Mary Moore is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and joined the faculty i​n 2016.  She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Rheumatology.  She graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School, completed her Pediatrics Residency at Pittsburgh Children's Hospital and her Pediatric Rheumatology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine.  Dr. Moore has spent the majority of her career in academic medicine and has extensive experience in the management of complex pediatric patients.  She is an enthusiastic and skilled teacher.  In the past, she was a funded investigator and chair of the IRB, but her focus now is on patient care and medical education.  She cares for general pediatric patients at CMU Health Pediatrics and is currenlty scheduling pediatric rheumatology consultations.  Her educational and research interests are in general pediatrics and pediatric rheumatology.​

Erin Hanson, PNP-BC

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Erin Hanson, PNP-BCErin Hanson is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She joined the CMU Health pediatric team in November 2013. She is board certified to provide care for children aged newborn to 21 years through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Valley State University in 1996. She completed her Master of Science with pediatric nursing specialty from The Ohio State University in 2001. She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. As a nurse practitioner, she has experience in pediatric neurosurgery and primary care.
