This place is really the perfect size to get a truly unique training experience. While not as big as academic metropolitan center, this place has a huge catchment area, which allows for amazing pathology and a more real-world Emergency Medicine experience.  There are only a few other residency programs offered here, which means an incredible number of procedures for the Emergency Medicine residents. We handle all our own ortho and procedural sedations, and traumas are resident run. I also appreciate the very dedicated program director, faculty and staff.  And the awesome Simulation Center!   Definitely a hidden gem in the Emergency Medicine world!"
