Monica Fisher, PhD, DDS, MPH, MS is a Professor of Epidemiology in the Foundational Sciences Discipline at Central Michigan University College of Medicine.  Dr. Fisher received her Ph.D. in Epidemiologic Science, Doctoral of Dental Surgery, and Master of Public Health from the University of Michigan, and her Master of Science in Cell Biology from the University of Connecticut.  Dr. Fisher is a quantitative analytical epidemiologist with research interests in the area of evidence-based practice, health services research, and health outcomes, focusing on chronic co-morbidities/multiple chronic conditions and health disparities related to diabetes, chronic kidney disease, heart disease and periodontal disease as exemplified in the following selected publications:
