The CMU College of Medicine has campuses in Mount Pleasant and Saginaw, and both have state-of-the-art technology in new facilities.
In Saginaw, the CMU College of Medicine partnered with Covenant HealthCare and St. Mary's of Michigan to assume control of a nonprofit medical education group with a long history of working with medical students and residents. Our clinics form the largest multi-speciality practice in the Great Lakes Bay Region. Saginaw serves as the primary site for education for third- and fourth-year CMU College of Medicine students, our residency program and most of our CMU Health clinics. Our 46,000-square-foot education building with a 10,000-square foot simulation center opened in May 2015.
The campus of Central Michigan University serves as the primary location for education of first- and second-year medical students, for the college’s central administration and for conduct of its research programs. The CMU College of Medicine’s clinical enterprise is referred to as CMU Health.
CMU Health sites and locations can be found throughout the mid-Michigan region with locations in Saginaw and Mount Pleasant.
