Program Coordinator/Mid Central AHEC
April Osburn is the Program Coordinator for the Mid Central Area Health Education Center, housed within the CMU College of Medicine. Her primary responsibilities are to participate in the planning, development and implementation of continuing education programs offered regionally and statewide. She focuses on identifying and developing programs to meet the educational needs of the healthcare professionals working in the rural and medically underserved communities. April is a graduate of Ferris State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration. Prior to working at CMU, she was Vice President of Membership & Programs at the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce. For her, the best part of working for the College of Medicine and the AHEC is being part of two new endeavors and the grassroots community development.
