Geography-related careers include everything from teaching geography at an elementary school to using geographic information system software to analyze a regional floodplain or map a land development project.

You can gain the knowledge and skills that will help you enter a geography-related position through one of these CMU programs:

A master's degree program in geographic information sciences also is offered, providing advanced course work and applied research in cartography, geographic information systems (GIS) and remote sensing. There is also a graduate certificate in data mining program as well. ​
