How to Apply
To apply for admission to the graduate program in biology, you must complete steps 1-3. Step 4 is optional, but strongly encouraged.

1. Application for admission to the College of Graduate Studies. 
  • Specify "Conservation Biology" on the application if you wish to pursue this degree option.
  • Include transcripts from all previously attended universities.
  • Enclose a Statement of Interest. Describe your general fields of interest and proposed subjects of research, past experiences (coursework, training, etc.) that relate to your fields of interest, and professional goals. Identify Department of Biology faculty members with whom you wish to work.

    Send your completed Graduate Studies Application, transcripts, and statement of interest to:

2. GRE (general test only)Arrange to have scores sent to Central Michigan University.

4. Apply for a Teaching Assistantship in the Department of Biology
