A new Problem of the Week will be posted each Monday.  Solutions are due the following Monday at 2pm.  View the Problem of the Week rules HERE.

Problem of the Week, From Spring 2017

Problem 563
• Solution
• There were seven correct solutions to problem 563.  The solvers were Muhannad Abusummah, Mooad Alzahrani, Brianne Becker, Craig Day, Cheng Hao Fu, Emma Welch, and Zhang Yifan.  A random drawing was done to determine the prize winners.  The \$10 prize is split between Muhannad Abusummah and Craig Day.

• There were two correct solutions to problem 562.  The solvers were Luke Steffke and Zhang Yifan.  Yifan is a graduate student and is not eligible for prizes.  The \$20 prize goes to Luke Steffke.

Problem 561

• There was one correct solution to problem 561.  The solver was Zhang Yifan who is a graduate student.  Graduate students are not eligible for prizes.  The award for problem 562 will be \$20.
