About Math Summer Camp
Math Camp will be offered July 30 through August 17, 2012. Work must be completed by August 17.
Applications and Costs
Space is limited in the camps, so apply early if you would like to attend! Cost of the camp is $30.00 per camp and includes all instructional materials. The cost will be billed to your CMU student account. Do not mail any payments to the CMU Department of Mathematics. Questions about how to pay your student account should be directed to the Student Service Court (1-888-610-4991).
You will be notified of acceptance via your official CMU e-mail address and will also receive additional information at that time. If you are not accepted for a camp you will not be charged the $30.00 fee.
The application period for the 2012 Summer Math Camp is now closed.
Camp Selection and Placement
The appropriate camp is based on our placement rules and the math courses required for your plan of study.
To access the course material you will need a PC or a MAC. Several small plug-ins will need to be downloaded. Assignments are done online and you are able to get help from your instructor via virtual office hours, e-mail or phone.
For students who live within driving distance of CMU, tutoring will be available on campus weekdays. Online tutoring will also be available.
You will be allowed to change your fall semester math classes after August 17 as indicated by your camp instructor.
