Live, learn and teach in Oaxaca, Mexico to enhance your local perspective. Work with children, craft lesson plans, and take in the spanish mexican culture around you all while earning course credit.


Work in a bilingual school with kids that are eager to learn, boost your creativity with crafts and musical activities, and have fun constructing lessons for your class with other CMU students and faculty.


Begin to understand the culture and history behind the amazing city of Oaxaca by spending your free time touring the ruins of Monte Alban, shopping at the authentic Zapotec marketplace, and exploring the vibrant life of downtown.


Receiving course credit for pre-student teaching and global field experience is only the beginning of what is to be learned. Compare and contrast schooling in Mexico to the U.S. and help yourself grow in your teaching career.
