Disney college program
Ever dreamed of working for Disney? Here's your chance!
Central Michigan University has been one of Disney’s longest standing university partners, one of the first to start with them when the program began in 1981, more than 30 years ago. The transferable skills, training and learning opportunities that students experience will be an asset to any college student no matter what major or career being pursued.  CMU Disney alumni for more than 30 years have said this program has been life changing and has made them become more professionally mature when they returned to the university.  And the cultural experience that students receive from this experience is beyond what they have imagined, working with cast members and serving international guests from all over the world on a daily basis.

Disney program highlights
  • Develop better communication, problem solving, leadership, time management, teamwork, and guest service skills to name a few, will all benefit any student in any career choice.
  • Disney is up front and honest, these are not supervisory or managerial positions.  These roles are entry level, seasonal employment positions with very high guest contact, no matter what role the student has been offered. The training, work, cast member relationships, cultural and living experience and educational opportunities are what enhance these experiences.
  • Freshman students have gotten just as much out of the program as our seniors.  Students will want to confer with their parents and academic advisors to look at more favorable academic schedules when they consider which Disney program to apply for.
