The Pre-Student Teaching Placement
Application is used to gather necessary information so that you can be placed
in your Pre-Student Teaching Field Experience. It is important that when
filling out the schedule you include the courses for which you are registered
as well as any other scheduling conflict (work schedule, etc.).
- Treat this as if it were a
job application. Use complete sentences, proper grammar, and correct

have someone else proofread it as well.
- This is your chance to make
a good first impression with your host teacher. Give your host
teacher a reason to be excited to have you in his/her classroom.
- Be descriptive. Give
the host teacher a chance to get to know who you are before you enter the

film or in any form to promote activities of Central Michigan University
and/or Mount Pleasant Public Schools.
- Once the form is completed
and submitted there is not an opportunity to make changes.
Every attempt will be made to
accommodate your schedule and individual needs. However, if your
placement application is submitted with errors, you may lose priority with
placements and you will be asked to re-apply. If the second attempt
contains errors, you will risk not be placed and may be asked to postpone your
Pre-Student Teaching Field Experience until the following semester.
