Togo Africa

Togo, Africa

Students choosing the Togo Student Teaching Experience will visit the west coast of Africa and will not only experience teaching in the schools, but will explore and compare Togolese historical, geographic, political, economic, environmental, and social landscapes of this country and its people.  Students will be staying in a dormitory, student housing or a Guest House.

The program provides cultural experiences that expose students to various diverse societies and cultures in Togo, Africa.  Students will interact with Togolese education students and faculty from both the University of Lome (UL) and the University of Kara (UK).  Student Teaching observations and seminars will continue with a University Coordinator who will also be the faculty leader.

Excursions will be planned and are included in the cost of the program.
