STEM Involvement


STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math) INVOLVEMENT EVENTS:


This event also focuses on parents and children learning together, only now involving math! Families are given multiple opportunities to develop problem-solving skills and to build an understanding of mathematics with hands-on materials.


The Family Science event is part of a national education outreach program designed to encourage parents and children to explore and discover science together. Families can enjoy creative, hands-on learning activities together!


Discover the fun of engineering through hands-on activities for the whole family! Parents and their children will work on math and science related scenarios and solve these problems together in an engaging manner.

Where do these events take place?

These events take place in a variety of locations. The GEMS Center is working with a number of libraries, elementary schools, and other local areas to host the STEM Involvement Events.

How do I register for a STEM Involvement Event?

Families can register through the place that the event is held at. Also, STEM Involvement Events are free!!
