TEPD Professional Development
About
TEPD has embarked on a series of new Professional Development initiatives as a means to better serve the faculty and staff by sharing information pertaining to their positions and classrooms. This site provides access to resources such as the Lunch and Learn Series and other PD Resources that have been compiled in order to help faculty and staff in every way possible.
Lunch and Learn
The Lunch and Learn Series began in TEPD as a way to share ideas and concepts that our Faculty and Staff received at conferences they attended or from their areas of focus and passion. As the name suggests, faculty and staff come together once a month to learn new information that will benefit them as professionals and educators while enjoying a catered lunch with their colleagues.
Lunch and Learn sessions are presented in different formats to allow faculty and staff to see innovative ways of teaching in action if they are looking for a way to reinvigorate their own courses. Favorite formats thus far include a hands-on workshop using the method called the Circle of Knowledge and a speedy and refreshing format called Lightning Talks.

This page offers a selection of conferences, seminars, and workshops scheduled in the upcoming months. Links for each option are included to direct you to the website for more information on the conference and how to register.
Resources
After careful searching this page is a compilation of many different types of resources that may benefit our faculty and staff, as well as their students, many of whom will be future educators.
