Resources
Educator Resource Center offers NASA Materials
The SMTC is one of two Michigan NASA Educator Resource Center (ERC) providing NASA materials in support to teachers, students and community members. Most NASA materials are available free to teacher. NASA educational materials include lesson plans, computer programs, photographs, posters and more.

All materials are available for checkout at the SMTC. Posters and photographs are available to teachers at no cost and to students and the general public for $3.50.

There are a limited number of space-related kits available for checkout such as: Star Finder, an instrument students can use to learn constellations, stars and planets; and Toys in Space, a supplement to the CD that includes toys noted in the CD that teaches the concept of physics. Additionally, for organizations having the capability of viewing videotapes and slides we do have a number of both for checkout.

For information about activities, resources, or materials please contact Pat Perry at (989) 774-4387 or perry1pj@cmich.edu.
