Continuing Medical Education

Accredited Continuing Medical Education (CME) for physicians and health care professionals has been ongoing in Saginaw for over 50 years. The Central Michigan University College of Medicine is proud to continue this tradition. CMU College of Medicine CME is committed to fostering an environment rich in professional development opportunities for the health care community that enhances life-long learning.

In 2018, the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME®) awarded the CMU College of Medicine a six year Accreditation with Commendation to provide CME for physicians. The ACCME employs a rigorous review process to ensure its accredited providers offer high quality continuing medical education and training focused on evidence-based medical knowledge, patient care and procedural skills, practice-based learning and improvement, interpersonal and communication skills, professionalism, systems-based practice, and values and ethics.
