I am a Lecturer I in the School of Engineering and Technology here at Central Michigan University, in the area of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

My teaching and research interests are in control systems & hardware, computer engineering, signal & image processing, neural networks and intelligence, simulation and mathematical modeling of physical systems, computational physics, and VLSI circuit design. I also work in the design of scientific instrumentation and control systems, especially in the areas of physics and astronomy.

A personal love of mine is reading and writing in areas concerning the philosophy of science. I have developed and taught, in part, such courses at previous universities.

I have served as student activities chair, vice-chair and chair of the Tulsa Professional Section of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), for the calendar years 2003 and 2004, respectively.

I have served on many senior projects as an advisor, as well as a few Master's projects. These were mostly in some aspect of robotics and automation, or in the design of systems involving signal and data acquisition and processing.
