The Pre-Medicine and Health Professions Advising Center supports students pursuing a competitive graduate health pathway. Students, regardless of major, will be assigned an advisor to support their academic and pre-professional advising needs during their undergraduate program.
Senior Academic Advisor
Amber earned both her Bachelor of Science in Education and her Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from CMU. She has worked at CMU for 15 years and served as an advisor for pre-health students for five years. Amber enjoys supporting student during their time at CMU and helping them to prepare for the next step of their academic journey.
Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science from CMU in 2010 and is very excited to be back working for his alma mater. He started his academic advising career at the College of Southern Idaho and before that he spent 6 seasons coaching college basketball. Ryan’s favorite part of academic advising has always been helping students navigate their academic path and looks forward to helping students reach their pre-health goals!
Jackie earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership both from CMU. She has spent all 20 years of her career working in higher education at CMU. Jackie feels very fortunate that she has had the opportunity to make valuable connections with students, faculty and staff during her time here. She especially finds working with students to achieve their academic and career goals to be very rewarding.
