Venue:

The Michigan League on the campus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Travel:

The closest airport is Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (roughly 25 miles from Ann Arbor). Parking is very limited, so plan to take airport shuttle to Ann Arbor.

Lodging:

Single dorm rooms are available for $62 per night. Rooms in hotels close to the venue have also been reserved.

Registration:

Registration includes attendance at all sessions as well as all meals.

Program:

The meeting will start with a keynote talk on Sunday, August 4 at 6pm and end with a banquet Wednesday, August 7th.

New International Dictyostelium Awards:

Junior Faculty Award. This will be for faculty who are at the assistant professor level, and who will have a decision made on their promotion to associate professor, or equivalent, on August 15, 2019 or later. Candidates can self-nominate, have someone nominate them, or anyone can nominate an assistant professor. Please send a 1-page letter of nomination and CV of the candidate by July 1, 2019 to rgomer@tamu.edu.

Postdoctoral Researcher Award. This will be for postdocs who are applying for, or planning to apply for, faculty positions. Candidates can self-nominate, have someone nominate them, or anyone can nominate a postdoc. Please send a 1-page letter of nomination and CV of the candidate by July 1, 2019 to rgomer@tamu.edu.
