Kouqi LiuKouqi Liu now is a postdoc in Department of Department of Earth & Atmospheric Sciences in Central Michigan University. Before that, he worked as a research associate in Department of Petroleum Engineering in University of North Dakota. He earned his B.S. and M.S. degree from China University of Petroleum and got his Ph.D degree from University of North Dakota in 2018. His research focuses on the characterization of the microstructural and mechanical properties of unconventional reservoir (mainly shale gas and shale oil formation). He is a member of Society of Exploration Geophysicists, Society of Petroleum Engineers and America rock mechanic association.​
Suman SaurabhSuman Saurabh is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Central Michigan University. He received his undergraduate degree in Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology. He obtained his PhD from Southern Illinois Univeristy. Currently, he works with Dr. Natalia Zakharova with aim to develop fundamental and applied research in Energy Geomechanics, Rock Physics and Fluid flow. ​
