    Rachel CatoniHello my name is Rachel Catoni and I am from Fraser, Michigan. I am going to be a sophomore this year at CMU and I am currently a Physics:Astronomy major with minors in French and Mathematics. Some of the organizations I'm involved with on campus are Alternative Breaks, The Leadership Institute, and the Science and Engineering Residential College. I also spent this past summer studying abroad in Pau, France where I took french courses and got to travel around Europe learning about and experiencing European culture!

    Olivia VanBuskirk holding a weather balloonI'm Olivia VanBuskirk and I'm currently a junior here at CMU! I'm double majoring in meteorology and geography with a concentration in Geographic Information Science and double minoring in math and sustainability/environmental policy. I'm from Port Huron, Michigan, right on Lake Huron. On campus, I'm involved with the Alternative Breaks program where students spend week-long trips volunteering in communities across the US and I am also on the executive board for SCAMS, the registered student organization for meteorology. I also just finished up an incredible summer internship at the National Weather Service office in White Lake, Michigan!

  • Anthony Wilson - Meteorology/Mathemtaics/Environmental Science

    Anthony WilsonMy name is Anthony Wilson and I will be a junior this upcoming semester studying meteorology with minors in mathematics and environmental science. Originally, I am from an area just south of Atlanta called Lake Spivey, GA . My passion to learn more about climate brought me all the way to Michigan in the hopes of better understanding weather patterns across the globe. I am the first student at CMU to complete the McNair Program, which is a federally funded program which tries to get more underrepresented groups in STEM to attain their Ph.D. I am also a Multicultural Advancement Scholar and in my spare time, I love learning about other cultures. Currently right now, I can speak up to three languages in a business conversation.
