"Inclusive Engagement in Public Spaces"
The 4th Annual Diversity and Inclusion Symposium will bring those within and beyond higher education into the conversation of learning from different sources of knowledge and wisdom, in building a deeper and more profound capacity for inclusive engagement. In this session, keynote speaker, artist, designer and urban planner Candy Chang, widely known for her creative works of art that transform public spaces, sparks conversations and fosters engagement. She melds social activism with creative place-making and encourages others to express their opinions.
Three breakout sessions will focus on topics that relate to the keynote presentation. Their descriptions are forthcoming.
