Exciting GA positions for the academic year 2018-19 are now available in a variety of departments.
Please explore our GA recruitment brochure to learn more about the Central Michigan University campus and community. There are four unique elements of the ESS GA Learning Community:
Connection: Membership to a support network of 30+ other ESS graduate assistants.
Compensation: A competitive package that includes a tuition waiver, a stipend (last year's stipend was $10,800), and an option for free on-campus housing (with no in-hall or on-call responsibilities) and a meal plan. See the FAQ part of this site to learn more about the compensation package.
Leadership Development: Intentional orientation training and monthly professional development workshops are value added to the graduate assistant experience.
Integrated: Graduate Assistants within the ESS GA Learning Community are not limited to one specific graduate program or area of study. Commonly graduate assistants pursue the MA in Higher Education, MA in Counseling, Master of Science in Administration or MA in Sports Administration. Explore all CMU graduate program options here.
