Available Staff Positions
Please Note:
If you are interested in multiple positions such as Guide, CTeam, and Runner, please do NOT fill out all three applications. Fill out the application that you are most interested in. Indicate on your application that you would also be interested in other positions.

Staff Assistants are the only paid undergraduate positions on the Leadership Safari staff. These are year around positions which are in charge of helping to select and train the staff and coordinate the conference logistics. To be eligible, a person must have served on staff for at least one year in the role of a Guide.

Position Requirements
Student must be an undergraduate student, have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA, served on the Leadership Safari staff for at least 1 year, and not be on disciplinary probation with the university. Core staff is essentially comprised of expert staff members who serve as mentors and resources for Safari Guides, CTeam, and Team Runner. Additional responsibilities include program logistics and participant assistance.

Position Requirements
To be eligible to serve as a member of Core Staff, a person must be moving into their third year on staff. The staff member can have served in a combination of any staff positions and have a minimum of a 2.75 cumulative GPA and not be on disciplinary probation with the university. These are staff members who are moving into their third year on staff but are not serving as Core Staff. Rangers have additional responsibilities and serve as mentors. A third-year staff member does not have to apply to be a Ranger if they do not want the extra responsibility of being involved in the staff selection process. Instead, they should apply for returning staff (in whichever area they want). A person who has served as a member of C​Team for one year and as a Guide for one year is eligible to be a Ranger.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have taken time off from being on staff but are applying to come back and qualify to be a Ranger, you will need to contact us PRIOR to filling out an application.  You will not likely have permissions set up in our system to do so.  It's imperative that you contact us so that you fill out the correct application, so that your application can be reviewed.

Position Requirements
To be eligible to serve as a Ranger, a student must be moving into their third year on staff, have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA, are willing to take on the added responsibility of application review and interviewing potential new staff members and not be on disciplinary probation with the university. To see the full descpription and application timeframe, please read our Ranger Staff position descpription.

A Returning Guide is a guide that has been a Safari Guide for at least one year.  A student whom is also eligible to be a Ranger but does not want the extra responsibility of being a Ranger can also apply to be a Returning Guide. Must have been a guide previously, though not in sequential years.

Position Requirements

CTeam members are our master facilitators that don't have a group of  participants. They are in charge of our challenge course, they work with core groups to help individual teams and assist with team building initiatives.

Position Requirements

Team Runner members are the backbone of Leadership Safari. They are in charge of seating, set creation, room set up and production as well as speaker hospitality, and overall conference logistics.

A new position, this is position will be solely dedicated to coordinating the Leadership Safari conference in January.

Position Requirements
