Alexx is a junior from Midland, Michigan. She is studying English for Secondary Education with a minor in School Health Education! At CMU, she is a PINK Campus Team member, an AWAKE Chocolate Campus Ambassador, and a member of the Student Michigan Education Association. She loves the family atmosphere of Leadership Camp!
Cat hails from Bay City, Michigan and is a junior. She studies Accounting with a minor in Legal Studies. Cat can be found around campus participating in Alpha Sigma Alpha, the Club Tennis team, and as a Student Assistant at Park Library. Her favorite thing about Leadership Camp is using the wisdom of the Social Change Model in her own life!
CC Shoemaker – Facilitator
CC is from Livonia, Michigan! She will be a senior this upcoming year and her major is Exercise Science: Kinesiology and Psychology. CC has been heavily involved in the Honors Health Service Society and a Psychology of Law Research Team. She's also a member of the Pre-PA Club. She loves empowering others to make change at Leadership Camp!
Derick Motley – Facilitator
Derick is a senior who is coming to you live from Macomb, Michigan! He is an Engineering major. At CMU, he is involved with Alpha Phi Alpha, the National Society of Black Engineers, and he serves as a Resident Assistant on East Campus! His favorite thing about Leadership Camp is helping others learn and grow to become better leaders!
Erin Horn – Facilitator
Erin is a junior from St. Clair Shores, Michigan! She is going into Anthropology with a Biology minor. She's a member of the Chippewa Marching Band, the Swim Club, and the Anthropology Club! Erin loves how Leadership Camp allows incoming students to better understand the transition to college!
Garrett Comer – Facilitator
Coming from Greenville, Michigan is Garrett, a junior here at CMU. He is studying Secondary Education for math and history! His involvements include working as a Resident Assistant and Desk Worker in the Residence Halls, as well as being a STEM Education Scholar. Making connections with other facilitators and campers is his favorite part of Camp!
Gina Weaver – Facilitator
Gina is a junior from the noble city of Big Rapids, Michigan! At CMU, she is involved as a Resident Assistant in Wheeler Hall in the Towers. She is also involved as a Sexual Aggression Peer Advocate. Gina's favorite thing about Leadership Camp is all the people involved.
Holly Moore – Facilitator
Holly is a recent graduate from Gaylord, MI. She studied Sociology and Psychology and is on her way to a Masters in College Student Affairs Leadership! As a student, she was a member of the Chippewa Marching Band, and lead Alternative Breaks! She loves making connections with people who are passionate about social change!
Jomi Ogunfiditimi – Facilitator
Jomi hails from the beautiful location of Northville, Michigan! He is studying Sociology and Economics here at CMU and is a senior. When it comes to being involved on campus, Jomi's main commitment is the fraternity, Sigma Pi. He loves meeting campers and helping them realize their potential as leaders!
Kendra Coons – Facilitator
Kendra is from Cedar Springs, Michigan, and is a senior studying Recreation & Event Management, and Communications and Leadership. She is a Resident Assistant in Woldt Hall, works in the East Community Success Center, and is a Play on the Way Facilitator. She loves getting to know all of CMU's future leaders!
Kerisa Rascoe – Facilitator
Hailing from Essexville, Michigan, Kerisa is a junior. She studies Biomedical Sciences, Leadership, and ASL! She is a member of the Chippewa Marching Band, Alpha Sigma Tau, and the Physician Assistant Club. She loves how Camp has the ability to bring anyone together in a comfortable environment.
Kristen Cody – Facilitator
Kristen is from Fenton, Michigan. She is a junior and majoring in Integrated Public Relations and Cultural and Global Studies. Kristen gives campus tours, is a Young Life Leader, and is an RA in Thorpe Hall! Her favorite part about Leadership Camp is being surrounded by people who inspire change!
Lyndsy Allmacher – Facilitator
Lyndsy is a senior from Northville, Michigan. She is double majoring in Special Education and Sign Language. She can be found around campus at the SAC helping out with URec, as the Head of the Judicial Board, or as a member of the sorority Zeta Tau Alpha. She loves how Leadership Camp has changed her worldview!
Maggie Voisin – Facilitator
A Mount Pleasant native, Maggie is majoring in Child Development and is a junior at CMU. She's a member of CMU Women's Club Volleyball, has gone on an Alternative Break, was a Leadership Safari Guide, and is a Resident Assistant in Celani Hall. Having gone through regular and Camp 2.0, she is thrilled to be on staff as a facilitator this year!
Matt Belanger – Facilitator
Matt is an Elementary Education major from Alpena, Michigan. He is a junior at CMU and involved in many different areas on campus. While at CMU, he spends his time being a member of Pi Kappa Phi, helping out as Sweeney Hall Council Treasurer, participating in Alternative Breaks, and acting as a Leadership Safari Guide.
Megan Brandell – Facilitator
Megan is a junior from DeWitt, Michigan. She is the RHA Representative for Trout Hall, and serves on their executive board. She is majoring in Health Administration as well as Athletic Coaching and Gerontology. Her favorite thing about Leadership Camp is being able to teach the incoming students about the Social Change Model.
Pam Henning – Facilitator
Pam is a senior from Grandville, Michigan. She is a Psychology and Family Studies double major. Pam is a member of the Education and Human Services Residential College, a member of Delta Phi Epsilon, and participates in Alternative Breaks. She loves the connections she makes through Camp!
Payton Shatney – Facilitator
Payton is from Grand Rapids, Michigan and a senior at CMU. Payton is majoring in Interior Design and Event Management. Her involvements include being a Resident Assistant in Celani Hall, an Adopt-A-Grandparent Mentor, and a member of the American Society of Interior Designers. She loves the relationships she builds at Camp.
Toni Schafer – 2.0 Facilitator
Toni is a junior from Canadian Lakes, Michigan. She is majoring in Health Administration and minoring in Math and Leadership. Around campus Toni is involved in the Pre-Dental Society, and is a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha. Toni loves seeing the changes in campers throughout the three days of Camp!
Tristen Roman– 2.0 Facilitator
Tristen is a senior from Traverse City, Michigan majoring in Health Fitness and minoring in Psychology. He is active on campus while dedicating his time to the Honors Program, Eta Alpha Epsilon, tutoring, and intramural sports. He loves the relationships he has built with everyone he meets at Leadership Camp!
