Lydia Miller – Facilitator
Lydia is a recent graduate from Farmington Hills, Michigan who studied Social Work/Sociology with a minor in Leadership. Some of her involvements on campus are being a SAPA (Sexual Aggression Peer Advocate), a member of Greek Life, Alternative Breaks Board, and being a coordinator with the Leadership Institute's program Leadership. One of Lydia's favorite things about LCamp is making friends that have strong integrity and are all so authentic.
Adam Patla - Facilitator
Adam is a senior from Crestwood, Illinois! He studies Broadcasting and Cinematic Arts/ Media Design, Production, and Technology. His dream is to move to California one day. Some of Adams on campus involvements is being a Resident Assistant, Phi Sigma Pi Chapter Liaison and being a Success Center Student Assistant. Adam is looking forward to playing Knights and Dragons with everyone!
Alyssa June - Facilitator
Alyssa is a junior from St. John's, Michigan. Her major is Exercise Science with minors in Leadership and psychology. Alyssa is involved in Greek Life, is a Safari Guide, is a Leadership Advancement Scholar (LAS), and is on the Alternative Breaks Board! Her favorite thing about Leadership Camp is connecting with passionate students on leadership, values and backgrounds.
Melony Ratti - Facilitator
Melony is a senior from Hemlock, Michigan. Her field of study is Recreation and Events Management/ Hospitality. Melony is involved on campus in many different ways. In addition to being a Leadership Camp facilitator she is also a Safari Guide, a Study Abroad Alumni (ask her where she went!) and a Disney College Program Alumni. Her favorite thing about Leadership Camp are the relationships that are created while learning social change! She loves being able to interact with the future leaders of CMU's campus and she believes leadership is a process, not a position!
Alli Adams - Facilitator
Alli is a senior from Chesaning, Michigan. Alli studies Psychology and Child Development with a minor in Leadership. Alli can be found around campus participating in Greek Life, giving tours as a Campus Ambassador or in her role as a Resident Assistant! Her favorite thing about LCamp is how much our 2 ½ days empower students to be a better version of themselves and to create change.
Becca Hillyard - Facilitator
Becca is a senior this year from Grand Rapids, Michigan! Becca is truly passionate about her choice of study, which is Special Education for Elementary schools. She has been the Vice President of Celebrate Literacy, a Student Society - International Literacy Association, a Resident Assistant and a committee member of Colleges Against Cancer. Her favorite thing about Leadership Camp is all the wonderful relationships I've built from it!
Amy Walling - Facilitator
Amy is a junior from Big Rapids, Michigan. Some of her involvements on campus include Director of Musical Activities for a Professional Music Fraternity, Piccolo section leader of YOUR Marching Chippewas, Vice President of American Choral Directors Association and Secretary of Concert Choir. After hearing all that you may have guessed that she is studying Music Education! Her favorite thing about LCamp is watching everyone grow and learn about themselves and others!
Taylor Gehrcke - Facilitator
Taylor is from Comstock Park, Michigan who is going into his senior year. He studies Political Science with minors in Cultural and Global Studies as well as Leadership. When Taylor isn't at Leadership Camp you can find him around campus with the College Democrats, United Nations Association, the Student Government Association, or in his building where he was a Multicultural Advisor. Taylor's favorite thing about Lcamp is having the opportunity to connect with potential students from all across the state as well as working collaboratively in learning about the 7 C's of Social Change!
Salina Bosworth - Facilitator
Salina is going into her senior year and hails from Constantine, Michigan. She studies English Education, History & speech. Around campus Salina is involved in Alternative Breaks, National Council of Teachers of English and is a Resident Assistant. She loves that at Leadership Camp we learn about the social change model while forming relationships.
Stephanie Ralls - Facilitator
Stephanie is a senior from Belleville, Michigan. She studies Integrative Public Relations, Leadership and Public Affairs and hopes to do international service one day. She is involved in Alternative Breaks, Lunch Buddies, Greek Life, and is a Leadership Safari Guide! Her favorite thing about Leadership Camp? …that everyone comes together to empower one another and our community through discussing social change.
Wesley Down - Facilitator
Wes is from Highland, Michigan and is pumped to be going into his senior year. He has a major in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in sociology. He can be found around campus at Pre-Veterinary Club, as a Leadership Safari Guide or with his Greek organization. Wesley's favorite thing about leadership camp is simply, social change!
Jessika Brown - Facilitator
Jessika is a senior from Martin, Michigan! She studies Community Recreation and Event Management, Communications & Outdoor and Environmental Education! She is involved in a lot of different things on campus including Greek Life. Her favorite thing about Camp is that it doesn't matter how many times you do an activity, you always discover something new and gain a new perspective.
Michael Schmidt - Facilitator
Michael is a recent graduate from Mason, Michigan. He studied Mathematics and Physics Education and just finished student teaching. His on campus experiences included being a Resident Assistant and working with Camps & Conferences. His favorite thing about Camp is the impact that it can have on participants.
Megan Lamphere - Facilitator
Megan is a senior from Lapeer, Michigan studying Therapeutic Recreation with hopes of being a Physical Therapist! Megan is a gymnast here at CMU and can be found flinging her self 8 feet off the ground during our home meets competing on bars! Her favorite thing about Leadership Camp is getting to spend time with new and unique people who teach her new perspectives.
Felicia McCrary – Facilitator
Felicia is a recent graduate from Muskegon, Michigan. While at CMU she studied Social Work and Sociology. She could be found around campus going on Alternative Breaks, as a Resident Assistant or at the H-Cup as your local barista! Felicia's favorite thing about Lcamp is the activities like Life Boat!
Liz Mazorowicz – Facilitator
Liz is a recent graduate from Plymouth, Michigan. She studied Communication with a minor in Leadership. Liz can be found doing all sorts of things around campus such as being a Leadership Safari Core Guide, an Alternative Breaks Board Member, a Lunch Buddy or giving campus tours as a Campus Ambassador. Her favorite thing about Leadership Camp is getting to know current and future Chippewas and learning about Social Change.
Paige Rogers – 2.0 Facilitator
Paige is a senior from Traverse City, Michigan! She studies Math and French for Secondary Education. Out and about on campus Paige can be found being a Supplemental Instruction Leader, a Peer Mentor for the First Year Living and Learning Community (FYLC), the French Club Secretary and as a swim coach! What she really enjoys about LCamp is helping people to realize they can change the world!
Kaite Young-Kendall – Coordinator
Kaite is a recent graduate who is from Muskegon, Michigan. She studied Child Development with a minor in Youth Studies. She can be found around campus as a Resident Assistant, a SAPA (Sexual Aggression Peer Advocate), or as an Alternative Breaks Site Leader! Her favorite thing about Leadership Camp is all of the people who have been or currently are facilitators and campers! They have changed her world.
Ashley Watters –Coordinator
Ashley is a recent graduate from Warren, Michigan with a Masters of Arts degree in Professional Counseling. As a graduate student Ashley served as a Graduate Assistant in the Mary Ellen Brandell Volunteer Center. In her undergrad she earned a Bachelors of Social Work (BSW) and had a concentration in Youth Studies. She could be found shopping or watching a Lions game. Ashley's favorite thing about Leadership Camp is all of the opportunities it provides for people to be challenged and grow.
