Why are transfer students required to attend Academic Orientation?
Academic Orientation is required to finalize your admission to the university and to schedule your first semester classes. We recognize that new transfer students have college experience and have attended orientation sessions at other colleges or universities. For these reasons, our transfer orientation session is very specific and focused exclusively on the academic advising needs of new transfer students.
When will I receive confirmation of the date I selected to attend orientation?
Once you complete and submit your online orientation reservation, confirmation will be sent to your CMU e-mail account listing your orientation date, time, location and parking details along with links to other important information relevant to your orientation day.
