Congratulations on your decision to return to CMU for the fall semester! We understand that your spring semester was difficult, so we have outlined required steps below to help make sure that you are successful in your fall semester.
Steps 1 - 4 should be completed no later than 11:59 p.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2019 to be considered for rematriculation in Fall 2019.
1a. You will need to
enroll yourself in AAD 102, College Learning Strategies. This course is designed to help strengthen your study skills and develop an individual success plan. Students that successfully complete this course are better equipped to succeed in the rest of their college career and beyond. If you need to review how to register for classes, please review this document. Registration Instructions.pdf
1b. You will need to repeat classes. Successfully repeating classes that you received a grade lower than a C- in is the fastest way to raise your CMU gpa. Please take time to review your spring semester classes and decide on some classes that you can repeat during the fall semester.
Rearrange your fall semester and register yourself for those repeat classes. For freshmen a good start would be to repeat 2 or 3 classes. Transfer students would need to repeat 1 or 2 classes. You should be enrolled in no more than 12 credits. If you are not currently registered for fall semester classes, you should register now following these guidelines.
2. Pay a $35 rematriculation application fee. Please click on the button below to pay the $35 fee.
