Each year, candidates for graduate assistantships in the Student Affairs Graduate Learning Community are invited to attend our Grad Visitation Days, a 2-day program that provides interested students an opportunity to visit Central Michigan's beautiful campus in Mt. Pleasant, MI and to interview for available graduate assistantships in the Division of Student Affairs. This year; however, due to Covid-19 restrictions and out of concerns for the safety of candidates and our community, we will be hosting the Visit Days as virtual event.
The format of the program includes opportunities to learn about the Student Affairs Graduate Assistant Learning Community and academic opportunities in the College of Graduate Studies. Additionally a tour of campus (and that of our collaborative partner, Alma College, if interviewing there) and opportunities to network with current Student Affairs Learning Community cohort members are provided. Prior to arriving, interviews for Student Affairs graduate assistantships will be scheduled with departments that have openings.
Candidates completing the Student Affairs Graduate Assistant Application by Friday, January 15th, 2021 will be eligible to receive an invitation to the 2021 Grad Visitation Days. Included information for selecting interviews and signing up for lodging and a complete event schedule will be included in the invitation. For additional details, please view the Frequently Asked Questions section of this website. Please note that space is limited and interviews are offered to qualified candidates based on specific position criteria.
This year's Grad Visitation Days will take place on March 4 & 5, 2021.
