Thank you for your interest in attending Leadership Safari!  For freshmen and transfer students beginning their CMU education in fall 2018, Leadership Safari registration will open on March 1, 2018.  

Conference Fees 

Leadership Safari registratration costs $125.  This includes admission to all Safari speakers, conference materials, lodging in your residence hall, meals, and your conference t-shirt. This fee is not assessed until after the conference is complete, and will be charged to the student’s campus account. There will be no charge if the student is unable to attend and notifies our office prior to the cancellation deadline (08/04/17).

Participants who register and do not attend all conference sessions will be required to pay the early move-in fee, totaling $400 (which includes the registration fee). 

There is also a “No Show” fee of $150. If there are circumstances which prohibit attendance at Leadership Safari, we ask for advance notification via the options provided within the emailed confirmation materials. 

Fee Waiver Program 
Students with demonstrated financial need may request a fee waiver.  If a student has a Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) of between $0 and $5,000 per year, as determined by the FAFSA, they are eligable for a fee waiver.  Please refer to this page to apply for the fee waiver program.

60/40 Scholarship Program
Leadership Institute alumni have established a fund to ensure everyone can participate in Leadership Safari.  f your Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) has been determined to be between $5,001 and $10,000 per your FAFSA form, you are eligible to apply for the scholarship. If selected, you would only be responsible for covering 40% of the registration fee, or $50, the remaining $75 would be covered by the scholarship. Please refer to this page to apply for the 60/40 Scholarship
