Leadership development opportunities at Central Michigan University are organized by the LeadCMU framework. LeadCMU divides leadership programs into four phases: explore, discover, experience, and challenge. LeadCMU is designed to help students identify leadership programs that match their interest and experience levels.
To develop a sense of understanding about opportunities, resources, and community; to expand learning by seeking new experiences and diverse interactions.
To find something unexpectedly or in the course of a search. To become aware of yourself, values, relationships, and beliefs. To find your passions and to learn how your story and values can guide and inform your future involvement.
To create new insights about leadership and how to further your leadership journey; to formulate a sense of purpose around your leadership learning.
To commit to your values and lead with integrity and conviction; to make leadership learning a lifelong process of growth and service.
