Favorite things about CMU

  • CMU provides students with so many different ways to get involved – we have over 400 registered student organizations!.
  • School spirit! Whether it’s Fire Up Friday or walking through the Warriner Mall on any given day - students, faculty, and staff fill campus with maroon and gold pride.
  • Students can attend all sporting events for FREE with their student ID!

Key CMU resources to utilize

  • The Student Service Court is an excellent resource for students who are seeking answers regarding their student account, enrollment, and financial aid questions. Located in the lower level of the Bovee University Center and combines the services of Student Account Services and University Billing, the Registrar’s Office, and the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, all in one convenient location.
  • The Volunteer Center connects students to hundreds of service opportunities within the local community, national, and international locations. Nearly 70% of CMU students engage in service learning and CMU’s Alternative Breaks programs continues to rank among the top three in the nation!
  • The Mathematics Assistance Center is a phenomenal FREE resource for students looking for additional help in their math and statistics courses. MAC specifically provides tutors for specific classes, and they can help students by clarifying new information, demonstrating problem-solving skills, and working through example problems.
