  • Representatives from Career Development, Academic Advising and Assistance, Residence Life, Student Activities and Involvement, the Leadership Institute and Scholarships and Financial Aid will give tips on how to be a successful CMU student or supporter of one.

  • Students who live on campus receive 6 free guest passes (swipes) to allow parents, supporters, and families to share a meal.

  • President Davies will discuss his future vision for CMU and you will have the opportunity to ask questions.

  • Swim, visit the Jacuzzi, play basketball, racquetball, wally ball, run or lift weights. Parents and families gain entrance free of charge for Family & Friends Weekend.

Isabella County's Deerfield Nature Park (2425 W. Remus Rd; 989-772-2879)

  • Hike the beautiful trails anytime between 8:00 a.m. and dusk. *Park entrance fee applies.

City of Mt. Pleasant's Chipp-A-Waters Park (1403 W. High St.; 989-779-5335)

  • Commune with nature at Chipp-A-Waters Park. There is no entrance fee to this park; hours are 8:00 a.m. to dusk 

Mount Pleasant Discovery Museum (5093 E. Remus Rd.; 989-317-3221)

  • Visit the Discovery Museum, between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.) where young ones can get creative and enjoy hands on learning. *Discounted entrance fee applies. 

Downtown Mt. Pleasant (113 W. Broadway; 888-772-2007)

  • Shop in quaint downtown. * Some retailers will be offering discounted rates for parents, supporters and family members.
