Northwest Apartments offer one- and two-bedroom units. The units have the following basic items:
- Each bedroom contains a full-size bed and dresser.
- All living rooms contain a sofa, end table, and coffee table.
- Northwest Apartments have community laundry rooms for the exclusive use of residents.
- Kitchen/dining room includes a table and chairs.
Graduate Apartments offer one- , two- , and four-bedroom air-conditioned units. The units have the following basic items:
- Each bedroom contains a queen bed, dresser, mirror, desk and desk chair.
- All living rooms include a couch, comfortable chair, end table, and coffee table.
- Kitchen/dining room includes a table and chairs in the one and four-bedroom units. Two-bedroom units have a raised counter with bar stools.
- Full kitchens feature polished granite countertops and backsplash, stainless steel appliances including refrigerator, range with oven, countertop microwave oven, range hood, sink, dishwasher, and built-in pantry with recycling center.
- Each unit contains a laundry room with a side-by-side, full-sized Energy Star rated washer and dryer.
Kewadin Village Apartments offer one- , two- , and three-bedroom units. The units have the following basic items:
- In a one-bedroom apartment there is a double bed, dresser and mirror. In the two and three-bedroom apartments, only one bedroom is furnished.
- All living rooms have a sofa, end table, and coffee table.
- Kitchen/dining room include a table and chairs.
- Kewadin Village Apartments have a community laundry room for the exclusive use of residents.
Items that you may want to bring:
- Corded lamps (there are no ceiling light fixtures in the unit)
- Bedding (bedspread/comforter, blankets, sheets, pillow, mattress pad)
- Bathroom linens
- Hangers
- Shower curtain
- Fan
- Microwave (Graduate Apartments already provide one)
- Television
- Computer/Ethernet cord
- Dinnerware
- Cookware and utensils
- Laundry detergent for high-efficiency washers (laundry pods may be used)
- Cleaning supplies
- Toilet paper
- Rugs
- Safe or lockbox
Other items to consider packing:
- A list which includes the make, model and serial number for any personal item you are bringing with a value over $100
- Social Security card (if you plan on getting a job on-campus)
- Bike & bike lock (optional, but do register your bike with CMUPD if you bring one )
