Damon Brown - Director of the Student Activities & Involvement

Responsible for daily operation of the Office of Student Activities & Involvement. He oversees all campus programming, including CMU Program Board and all SAI marketing efforts. 

Damon has been at CMU since 1997. Prior to coming to Student Life in fall of 2006, he worked in University Recreation as the Coordinator of Intramural & Club Sports. He was responsible for coordinating a comprehensive Intramural Sports program that featured over 30 individual, dual & team intramural sports and over 25 club sports. 

Damon received his M.A. in Sports Administration from Central Michigan University. He earned a B.A. in Business Management & B.S. in Sports Sciences from Ohio University.

Girard Brown - Graduate Assistant

About Girard

This pointed him in the direction of his future career. Girard is currently pursuing a Masters in Higher Education Administration with the hopes to foster student growth through programming whether it be in leadership, student activities or housing.

Madison Mariles - President

Madison is a senior studying integrative public relations with minors in event management and leadership. This is her second year on the Program Board executive board and her third year in roles within the Office of Student Activities and Involvement. She is currently the president of Program Board and the entertainment co-chair for Siblings Weekend 2020. Outside of SAI, she is a Leader Advancement Scholar and a student representative on multiple university committees.

Madison is eager to produce events that are innovative and inclusive in nature for the campus community to enjoy. She is excited to give students opportunities to create their college experiences outside the classroom. She is open to hearing new programming ideas from students and would love to hear what students would like to see on campus. Stop by the Program Board office in UC 104E to say "hi!"
