Maci Michaela Solek is a junior studying event management with a minor in advertising. This is her first year within The Office of Student Activities and Involvement, serving as the Program Board Vice President. In addition, Maci will be serving as an Expedition Safari Guide.
Maci is excited to tackle the world of virtual programing with her team, while keeping the safety of our CMU community the number one priority.
David Downing - Vice President / Film Director
David Downing is a junior double majoring in Recreation and Event Management, and Outdoor Recreation! He has been active on campus with RHA, Hall Council, Association of Recreation and Event Professional, a Leadership Safari guide, a Campus Ambassador, and currently the Program Board Vice President and Film Director!
David is excited to explore a variety of films with the student body, so that they can engage in discussions with others, learn about different topics, and simply enjoy a movie with friends! He looks forward to creating new and unique experiences for the students this coming year!
Skyler Conran - Special Events Co-Director
Skyler Jo Conran is a sophomore studying Communication Sciences and Disorders with minors in American Sign Language and Leadership. This is Skyler's first year serving on an executive board within the Office of Student Activities and Involvement. In addition, Skyler is involved with A Letter for Better, Special Olympics, and is a Campus Ambassador. Skyler is very excited to work alongside Kayla to create fun, interactive, and unique events for students across campus!
Michelle Powers - Comedy Director
Michelle Powers is a Junior studying Cultural and Global Studies and Spanish. In addition to Program Board, she is a member of the CMU Honors program, and has volunteered with the ELI at CMU as a conversation partner. She is also a member and assistant director of nationally-recognized improv team Hypothetical Fistfight and a member of the CMU improv team Trap Door Improv.
Michelle is excited to work with Program Board and help navigate the new virtual entertainment experience to bring some comedy to CMU!
Dylan Baker - Digital Marketing Director
Dylan Baker is a Sophomore studying Human Resource Management with minors in both Hospitality and Leadership. In addition to Program Board, Dylan is a Leader Advancement Scholar, the President of A Letter For Better, a Campus Ambassador, and is involved in greek life.
Dylan is excited to utilize many different social media platforms to maximize event outreach, engage students, and to promote all of the fun activities his team has been working hard on.
Kristina Strachan - Concert Director
Kristina Strachan is a sophomore studying marketing with a minor in event management. This is her first year serving on the Program Board executive board and being involved in the the Office of Student Activities and Involvement.
Kristina is excited to plan music related events for all students to enjoy. She looks forward to providing others with opportunities to enrich their college experience. She would love to hear opinions from other students on what artists and genres they would like to have brought to campus!
Sophia Schulte - Public Relations Director
Sophia Rose Schulte is a junior studying Integrative Public Relations with a minor in Leadership and Applied Business Communication. In addition to PB Sophia is also a Leader Advancement Scholar. She has been involved with SOMI Leadership Launch for two years, this will be her second year serving as a consultant for PR Central as well as a member of PRSSA, and is the PR Director for the Grand Central Magazine.
Sophia is excited to help students like herself find community in events on and off campus. She is excited to help communicate to students the exciting virtual opportunities that will be available this year and to get to know the students at CMU.
Jenna Worthington - Lecture Director
Jenna Worthington is a sophomore pursuing studies as a Recreation & Event Management major with a double minor in Youth Studies and Leadership. This is her first year working within the Office of Student Activities and Involvement as the Lecture Director for Program Board. She is very excited to get to bond with her peers and create some amazing memories inside of the SAI Office. She is hoping to be as involved and engaged on campus as she can be this year, while staying safe. Jenna can't wait to bring the community together for some events that make our community feel more connected than ever, even amongst social distancing and new online formats.
