College life is a time of adjustment, transition, and growth. The professional staff at the Counseling Center is highly trained to help students through these times of change by providing counseling services and programs that enable students to develop the skills, attitudes, and behaviors that are essential for personal growth, successful academic progress, and student effectiveness.
We offer a range of free and confidential counseling services consistent with our Counseling Center Scope of Practice.pdf
on the Mount Pleasant campus to currently enrolled CMU students. Individual and group counseling services, consultation and referral information, crisis/emergency services, and sexual aggression services are available. We also have various Supportive Resources
that have been helpful to students on this website and numerous brochures and pamphlets in our office.
I encourage you to read as much of this website as possible as well as review the links below. We have tried to pack valuable information in these pages to help inform you about what we do and how you could benefit from our services.
If you feel you or someone you know could benefit from our services, please call our office at 989-774-3381.
