Student Disability Services at Central Michigan University is responsible for providing accommodations, resources, and learning strategies for students with disabilities and temporary impairments. SDS staff work in conjunction with faculty, staff, and other professional personnel to create an environment in which a disability is a neutral factor~ students may learn, grow, and express themselves as individuals ~ not limited by a disability.

Student Disability Services is under the umbrella of the Office of the Dean of Students. This division is comprised of other units which provide service to students who are a part of the campus community. Offices under the Dean of Students Office include:

All of these units work together to provide a safe, welcoming and productive learning environment for Central Michigan University students.

Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 1:00 pm until 5:00pm during normal university business days. Please call to set up an appointment or visit us for more information.​​
