Facility Technician Assistant



Position Overview: To perform preventive maintenance on all equipment located within the Student Activity Center.

Duties included but not limited to:

·       Major Duties: Clean, lubricate and make adjustments to equipment; maintain written records of what was performed on equipment; maintain inventory of equipment and parts; assist in ordering parts; perform lock out procedures when equipment is not usable for membership; assist with any technical support/repairs that are needed in the Bowling Center; assist in maintaining Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS); assist in maintaining files and other office related functions.



 CMU student (undergraduate or graduate) who is interested in the field of IET and wants to gain the experience through learning inside/outside the classroom. Previous experience working with exercise machines or other related equipment; mechanical, electronic and electrical aptitude (preferred).


Certifications Requirement

Adult, Child and Infant CPR and Standard First Aid (American Red Cross - preferred), A.E.D Certification (preferred); Right to Know training. Must be obtain once position as been offered and accepted.
